Well, it looks as though things are starting to progress. Since Tuesday I have been feeling some signs like things were 'changing' and I might be getting ready for labor. It was weird because my dog, Ginger, was freaking me out because she wouldn't leave my side...like she could sense something. Today Dr. Kramer did an exam and said the cervix has shortened and is dilating. There's no way to know how fast things could progress but we were told to keep the numbers for Hopkins handy and we're 'on alert' now. Jack is still breech and having fun kicking me. Dr. Kramer thinks I'll probably go into labor but they'll have to do a C-section because of the baby's position.
I've also reached a phase of pregnancy that I was convinced wouldn't happen...I can't get into bed by myself and James has to help me get pants on. I get so frustrated but he just pokes fun and teases me until I laugh it off. Thank God for him!
Well, that's about it for now. I think it's time for folks to start posting their guesses for Jack's birth: date, time and weight. My dad will pick up the job of posting news when we head to Hopkins so we'll still be able to keep everyone up to date.

Hi Vic
I am Toni Driller from New Zealand and my husband Marcus and I are expecting our boy Ethan who has a right sided diaphragmatic hernia on 11 Oct. At 30 wks 3 days, I have read your blog today and found it extremely helpful for us. The ups and downs that you have faced and your strength and faith to get through them. For example, I have just been told I have polyhydramnios and really thought that once you had this it wouldnt change. You have given me hope that these levels may go down and Ethan should get through a few more weeks yet! Our web page is: www.driller.co.nz.
thanks again for your willingness to share your thoughts and detailed info - its amazing for us!
