Jack's occupational therapist came over today. He's definitely made some good progress but we have some room for improvement. She showed us some new exercises and let us borrow a big, red pilates type ball to use with Jack. She thinks that he is just lacking the upper body/arm strength right now so we'll bring in a physical therapist to start helping us. Overall I'm not at all worried. He'll do things on his own time line...as usual. As you can see from the videos below he is starting to sit independently, although he's a bit wobbly. I'm going to work with him so he learns to get in a sitting position by himself. Right now he needs us to do it for him. His leg strength is VERY good as you can see from the Jumperoo part of the video. Don't worry, we don't let him spend more then 5 minutes in the jumperoo at a time ;-)

He is sooooo adorable! I love his wobbliness!

Juan Pablo didn't sit down by himself until he was 10 months old, he did it at his last hospital stay, so hopefully Jack will sit down all by himself in the next days or so :)

Looks like he is doing so well considering all you have been through. We hope that all goes as well with our baby girl as it has with Jack.

We will continue to track Jack's progress as you guys can track ours. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers..I am sure I will have so many questions and it is so nice to know others who have been through it all before.

Thanks again Cassi
