Oh Yeah....

I was just reading Wyatt's blog and remembered something I also meant to post. ABC is now hosting a TV show called "Hopkins". I saw the first episode last week. It runs on Thursday nights at 10pm. There is an interview with Dr. Ivor Berkowitz. He is the PICU attending doc. He was one of Jack's biggest advocates and made our time there more comfortable and he always helped us understand what was going on. He even let me sit in on his lecture about ECMO to his medical students. It helped me understand the machine that was keeping Jack alive.

It was so strange to watch the interview. I knew exactly where in the PICU they were doing the interviews and recognized the nurses/respiratory therapists in the background. I can't believe how watching just a short clip like that takes you right back to your time in the PICU. In some ways I don't think I should watch it but then again it does help me remember how far Jack has come and how great the team at Hopkins is.

You can watch the episode and/or interview here.
