Jack was diagnosed with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) in April 2007 at 19 weeks gestation. This blog chronicals Jack's CDH journey from before his birth through today. He is our little miracle and we hope his story gives hope to other CDH families.

He may feel sick but he's still a maniac!
Jack is still fighting some kind of cold I think but he's a trooper! Today I took him on his first trip to Toys R Us. Below is a photo of him clapping with excitement - surrounded by all his loot!
We bought him this gumball machine toy and he figured it out in 5 minutes! At the middle of the montage is a second video with him trying to walk. He can stand freely for about 3-4 seconds. He'll be walking soon I think!
Jack - you are amazing! Vicki - thinking back - Noah was doing about the same things at Jack's age. Don't encourage him to walk - it will be all over! No peace - he will be everwhere! I promise you that it is a mistake! ;-)

No - it is great but he is on his way!
He's got that gumball toy all figured out! I love how he looks down in it each time to make sure the ball is there. "No cheating!"
