After spending a week with my parents in Connecticut I FINALLY got Jack back. I'm glad it was an insanely busy week at work otherwise I wouldn't have made it this week. James and I went out on dates almost every night and spent the whole time talking about Jack!
Jack has been eating great but seems to have stalled out on his weight gain. I'm not worried because I have seen these trends with him. He is also so active now and doesn't want anything to do with baby food so we're experimenting with things he can eat. It's a bit challenging because of the milk/peanut/egg allergies but we're finding some good stuff. While he was in CT he learned to recognize and say "Clock" "Duck" "Blue" and do all sorts of silly new noises. He also mastered the monkey imitation which will come in handy for Halloween!
Below are some pictures and video. Jack LOVES the blue car buggy that Grandma Stacy & Grandpa Jim bought him. We were laughing because he was "drinking and driving" yesterday then "driving while using a cell phone" today. My parents got him the coolest ELMO phone. You program it so ELMO says his name when they talk. Too cute!
Also, please say a prayer for Nayeli who had surgery, Carter who is trying to get off ECMO and get to surgery and Ava who has been battling her way back to health after a serious reherniation and some unrelated but serious hospital-acquired complications.

That's a funny picture of him wearing the glasses. That car looks really cool and great for rides around the neighborhood.
My mom got Claire a Dora phone that says her name. We haven't tried it out yet -- I need to get on the ball and program it.
