Jack's first time harassing his sister!

Last night I could really feel the baby moving so I called James over. He didn't feel her move but could feel something round and hard - he thought it was her heal, a knee or elbow. While I had my shirt pulled up over my belly Jack ran over and looked all innocent at me. I told him he could rub the baby. Instead he proceeded to poke me in the belly button. You could see my stomach shift shape. I don't think his sister appreciated that!

On Thurs night we took Jack to the "Outback Steakhouse". At first I was worried if he would be good because it was a last minute decision to go and I didn't come prepared with toys to distract him. There were tons of other families there and I figured the odds were that he wouldn't be the loudest. He was an absolute angel! They gave him a coloring book and 3 crayons and he colored for a while. We bought him his first kids meal, which he didn't like, but he ate a ton of the free bread. The waitress brought over a styrofoam cup with water and a lid/straw. He grabbed it, took a big sip then said "Ahhhh!" and stuck out his tongue. It was so funny! He also enjoyed playing peek-a-boo with everyone around us!

He's been very happy lately since the weather is getting nicer and we can take him out a lot. His nanny said that we should just pitch a tent in the yard and he'd live outside if he could. I wonder if it has something to do with him being in hospitals and indoors so much during his first year that now he's an outdoors kind of guy? I love that he is more interested in exploring outside then watching Elmo or hanging out in the house.

Well, time to go play with my guys!

Also - HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jack's cousin Justin! His birthday was this past Thursday.
