My dad sent me the above photos of Jackie. It makes me SOOO happy to see him eating like that. My dad said he's been a little piggy! I love it. He's doing great with my parents. Last night he feasted on fresh caught fluke (thanks to Pa and Uncle George) and fresh farm corn. He had no mercy on the corn! I miss him like crazy.
I had my ultrasound yesterday. The baby looks fantastic. Blood flow to her brain and through the cord were excellent. She is also growing. Last Monday she was 5 lb 5 oz and yesterday she measured 6 lb 3 oz. Jack was only 6 pd 11 oz at 39 weeks. The fluid levels are still in the same range, maybe even slightly better but still low enough that I have to stay in the hospital. I'll have another scan on Thursday. Dr. Kramer said we won't do a C section this week unless something changes. He is ready to keep me here until July 27th, the original C section date. That would make 3 weeks of hospital bedrest. Ugh. I want conflicting things...I want the healthiest baby possible but I also want outta here. Of course, baby trumps all so I'm staying here.
My nurses are so awesome. My favorite nurse, Lorna, brought me rice krispie treats last night. She usually stays and talks to me for a while in the evenings. She's a Brooklyn girl, maybe that's why we get along so well? She also told me that the area we're in now is 'borrow' while the real Antepartum unit was being renovated. Next week we'll move to our new digs. I hope it's nice. At least now I have a decent room that gets great sunlight.
That's all for now. I'll post more pics as my dad sends them (hint hint Dad).

He's really doing a number on that corn! It's good to see him doing so well, although I can't imagine how much you miss him. Hang in there!!!
