Jack was able to visit his great-grandmother, Marion Jensen, for a day.

Jack also went to his first baseball game, hung out with his 4 cousins, and then James took him hiking on Mt Monadnock in NH. James' old friends Aaron and Eric went with them. You can see Aaron letting Jack put his feet on the summit of the mountain. James said that Jack loved the all day hike. Actually, he was really good the whole week.

Tonight I gave Jack a haircut, we went swimming and then he had a bath. Tomorrow we'll head to Hopkins for the holter. I also spoke to his Hopkins GI doc and he said that he's going to arrange for us to see a Hopkins allergist. I had the Frederick allergist fax me Jack's results. He is negative for brazil nuts, clam, codfish, lobster, oyster, pecan, rice, shrimp and soybean. They actually ran out of blood and couldn't test wheat and a few other things. I'm not sure if we'll get another blood draw for that. I'll wait to see what Hopkins recommends.
That's about it. I'm so glad to have my boys back. I haven't been able to sleep without them! It was so sad - I was propping pillows to trick myself into thinking there was someone else in bed! Jack is passed out next to me right now and I can't wait to fall asleep with him and James. Oh yeah - Jack is getting a 5th tooth coming in. He isn't fussing at all over this one. It's on the bottom.
Also, please keep baby Sofie Miller in your thoughts. She reherniated and had her 2nd repair today. It's so hard going back to the PICU for that. There definitely is the element of post traumatic stress that Sofie's mom mentioned in her post yesterday.

Hi Vic,
I am a friend of Gina's, Wyatt's mom. My son Daniel has peanut allergies. He was at one time allergic to milk, eggs and tree nuts. He has outgrown those but the peanuts will be with us for life. We see Dr. Wood at Hopkins. Highly recommend him. He is great. Also check out http://www.foodallergy.org Great resource and support. Good luck.
