We've had a rough couple of days. Jack caught a cold last week and gave it to me. He started to improve by Sunday and I progressed to bronchitis and now they think pneumonia. He got a little congested again but is still crawling, walking and getting into trouble as usual. We took him to the pediatrician yesterday just to be cautious and also to get his first RSV shot. He doesn't need breathing treatments this go around - it really is just a run of the mill cold - his second since birth. The pediatrician showed us that his gums are swollen and we expect some molars shortly. He started with eczema on his chest and back again. That happened when he was teething last time. I think it's a combination of teething and polar fleece PJs. I hoped he would tolerate polar fleece this year but I guess not. Anyway, we were greatful that our appeal to the insurance company went through and he was finally approved for Synagis (RSV shots). He gets 2 shots (once a month) for the next 5 months. I hate taking him in for that but I know it's better then risking him getting a bad RSV infection.
That's about it for us - just trying to recover from being sick. Please keep Sofie in your thoughts and prayers. She reherniated again (ugh!). We're also really glad that Carter is doing great and Ava is also recovering.
I took the above picture this evening. I call it G.I. Jack (AKA Typhoid Jack).

I hope you get to feeling better, and am glad that Jack got away with just having a mild cold.
That's great that he got approved for Synagis this year. Claire was denied by our insurance so our pediatrician is appealing, but I doubt it will do any good.
I'm sorry you both are sick. Speedy recovery thoughts sent your way!

Hope everyone is feeling better... hope to see you guys soon?
Noah gets eczema in the winter too - not bad just in a few areas we watch for.
Hope you all feel better and the holidays can be germ free!
