At exactly 10:04am, two years ago Jack entered this world. It's hard to believe all that happened since then. His birth was totally chaotic and scary (he coded and had to be resuscitated, but they had trouble intubating him). I didn't even see him until he was 1 day old. He endured 10 days on ECMO, multiple procedures, blood transfusions, reherniation repair surgery, cardiology complications and procedures and so much more. He fought through everything and always with a smile and gentle nature. He showed our family and friends that miracles do happen!
My wish for him today is that he enjoys many MANY more happy and healthy years. I want him to know that he proved to everyone that he can do anything and he is a very strong boy. We love you so much Jack and our lives are so much more rich and meaningful since you were born.
