Jack and Anika are blessed with the 4 greatest grandparents that a kid could ask for. We want to wish MiMi and Pa (my parents) and Grandma & Grandpa (James' parents) a wonderful Grandparents Day. They have all been supportive of James and I as we embarked on parenthood - from sitting vigil at Jack's hospital bed for days on end, spending precious long weekends driving to visit us and calling just to see how we're all doing. I really believe that it takes a village to raise a child and it's so great to know we have incredible families that are always there for us. I especially want to thank my mom for spending the past 7 weeks with us since Anika's birth. We've traveled with her to NY and CT then back to MD. She has helped James and I get the kids into a routine, she has cooked amazing meals and has been the extra set of hands we needed as we adjust to having 2 kids. She has so many projects/hobbies of her own and it means so much that she would put her life on hold to help us out. I am so glad she has been able to bond with the kids during these past 7 weeks!
So, to MiMi, Pa, G-ma & G-pa --> we love you all very much and appreciate everything you do for our little family!
