Jack had another long day at Johns Hopkins. We saw Dr. Brenner in pediatric cardiology for a followup to Jack's premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). We didn't have an echocardiogram, just an EKG. Jack HATED being poked but the nurse was really great and blew bubbles all over the office to keep him distracted during the reading. We met with Dr. Brenner afterwards and he was awesome as usual. He could still hear irregular beats and we saw them on the EKG. I think they were every 4-6 beats. After that we got Jack hooked up with the 24 hr holter monitor. They have it in a 'purse' that he slings over his shoulder. It looks so funny but so far he's being very good with it. If Jack has 10% or less of his heartbeats as PVC's then we only followup 1x/yr. Keep your fingers crossed!!
I was a little stressed and burned out from appts so when I got the video below from my brother Chris, it made my day! Tell me this - how could Jack have a cardiac issue and dance like this?????

I can see foreshadowing of a headbanging phase when he's a teenager! Fingers are crossed that his monitor readings look okay!
he is so cute dancing! we hope his monitor readings are ok and his reflux improves.
Such a cutie! I hope you get good news from all this cardiac testing. Keeping fingers crossed!
