It's official. I've given birth to the 2 most polar opposite eaters ever to grace the earth. There's Jack: we would get excited when he took a whole ounce of formula and not reflux half of it back up. Granted, he's now doing better on solids but is still our skinny little guy. Then there's Anika who is only 2 weeks old and several times in the last 2 days has taken 5 ounces of formula at a feeding! How can her belly even be big enough for that? She does this within a half hour or so and usually during her night feedings when she goes a little longer between feeds. I just might have Laurel & Hardy kids! Anika is beefing up quickly and already has a little double chin. I have to admit though, it really is nice to offer a bottle and have a baby just want to eat!
Not much else is going on. I need to take some new pictures. I've been hunting online for a Baptism suit for Jack. He was baptized at Johns Hopkins when he was only a few hours old. Only James and his sister (Jack's Godmother) were able to attend. Since we'll have Anika baptized, our priest said we could have Jack re-baptized in a more community atmosphere. I think we'll have to change him into his outfit right before church. A toddler in an all white suit...sounds like trouble to me!
That's about it. I also just wanted to mention that there is a CDH survivor, Ned, who really needs some prayers. His blog is listed with the other CDH babies on the side bar. He survived CDH but a few weeks ago he had an accident and nearly drowned in the bath. He has been in my thoughts. I can't imagine what his family is going through but I'm sure they would appreciate all your thoughts and prayers for Ned.

We found Nathaniel's baptism outfit at the Children's Place. I did not buy the traditional suit. We bought a white dress shirt, white slacks and a white v-neck sweater. Since he was four months old, we did not worry about shoes and just did socks. I looked at A LOT of places. Had the best luck there and at Nordstrom.
